Brain Health Report
- name
- brain-health-report
- description
- Use when asked how the knowledge base is doing, whether it is being maintained, which areas are weak, or for a periodic summary across the whole brain rather than one sweep area.
The metric that matters
Not page count. Answer coverage: of the questions asked, what share got a citable, current answer.
A brain with four hundred pages and a 40% gap rate is worse than one with sixty pages and a 90% coverage rate, because the first one teaches people it cannot be trusted and they stop asking.
Report contents
- Coverage — Questions by outcome over the period: answered, answered_stale, gap, contradiction. State the trend, not just the number.
- Top gaps by ask_count with status open. These are the pages the company most needs and does not have.
- Freshness — canonical pages past review, by area. Name the areas, not just the total.
- Ownership — pages and areas with no owner.
- Throughput — pages written, superseded, archived this period.
- Unresolved contradictions carried from previous sweeps.
Rules
- Every number comes from a query you ran in this session. If you did not read it, you do not know it.
- Report by area. "Twelve stale pages" is not actionable; "finance has eleven of the twelve stale pages and no area owner" is.
- Do not soften it. A brain rotting in one corner reported accurately is the product.
- Recommend at most three things. A report with fourteen recommendations gets none of them done.
Finish
Write to /brain/reports/ with today's date and a health- prefix so it is distinguishable from a sweep report. Say the three recommendations in your reply, in one line each.
