MCP Servers

Extend your agents with external tools and data sources.

Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers connect your Subterranean agents to external systems — letting them read documents, query APIs, and invoke tools that live outside of the workspace. You can register any compatible MCP server by URL, pass through the headers it needs for authentication, and enable or disable it per project.

Once connected, the tools exposed by an MCP server become available to agents that have the right permission preset, making it easy to mix first-party capabilities with your own integrations. A detailed setup walkthrough and authoring guide will be published here soon.
