Skills let you bundle specialized knowledge, procedures, and prompts that your agents can reach for when the situation calls for it. Instead of repeating instructions in every message, you capture a capability once and let the right agent invoke it with the tool permissions it already has.
Skills pair naturally with tool permission presets and MCP servers: a preset defines what the agent is allowed to do, MCP servers extend where it can reach, and skills describe how to accomplish a specific task well. Deeper documentation on authoring, scoping, and invoking skills is on the way.
